October Performance CINCINNATI, Ohio – November 6, 2008 – Blue skies, fair weather and an impressive employee effort were all factors in an historic operating month for Comair, Inc. During October, Comair set several performance records for the company, including a stretch of 22 consecutive 100 percent completion days. These are days when the airline does not cancel a single scheduled flight.

"Achieving 100 percent completion factor requires all of our employees to give 100 percent," said Comair President John Selvaggio. "With so many external factors that can impact our operation – weather, air traffic control initiatives – our team strives every day to overcome and excel."

For the month, Comair achieved a record 26 perfect days, outperforming Comair’s previous annual record of 24 perfect days in a year, set in 2007. Through the end of October, Comair has 60 100 percent completion days for 2008.

Comair performed above target in other keys areas as well, such as on-time arrival rate and baggage performance.
•    On-time arrival (within 14 minutes) was 85.7 percent, above target of 77.4 percent.
•    Baggage deals per thousand passengers were 7.85, better than target of 11.23.

Based at Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky International Airport, Comair is a wholly owned subsidiary of Delta Air Lines and a Delta Connection carrier. The airline employs 5,800 dedicated aviation professionals and operates 511 flights a day to approximately 80 international and domestic destinations.
